The forests, mountains, & waters of western Maine are stunning places for hiking, fishing, & other forms of recreation. But Central Maine Power’s (CMP) proposed transmission corridor would cut a permanent gash through this special region, & we can't let that happen to Maine's treasured North Woods. In this pre-recorded webinar, NRCM joins with three panelists to discuss how the CMP corridor would forever damage undeveloped portions of the North Woods, harm critical habitat for brook trout, & how people like you are fighting back. Panelists include: • Dave Publicover, Senior Staff Scientist - Appalachian Mountain Club • Jeff Reardon, Maine Director - Trout Unlimited • Chloe Rowse, Maine Guide & Appalachian Trail thru-hiker
